Kaynes Technology is set to establish a new manufacturing unit at the Perumbavoor Industrial Park in Kerala. 

This expansion signifies a significant boost for the electronics manufacturing sector in the state and is part of a larger investment commitment made by Kaynes Technology during the recent Invest Kerala Global Investors' Summit.

The company plans to invest Rs 500 crore in this new unit, which is expected to generate over 2,000 employment opportunities in Kerala. 

The land for the unit, formerly owned by Travancore Rayons Company at Chellamattom, Perumbavoor, has been transferred to KINFRA (Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation), which is developing the industrial park.

Kaynes Technology, headquartered in Karnataka, specializes in the design and manufacturing of electronic products for a wide range of sectors, including automotive, industrial, railways, medical, and aerospace, serving both domestic and global clients. 

The company already operates eight production units across India and has a service center in Kochi.
