Kanoria Energy & Infrastructure to invest Rs 300 crore for Grain-Based Fuel Ethanol Plant in Hargarh

The Board of Directors of Kanoria Energy & Infrastructure Limited has scheduled a meeting to discuss and approve various matters, including the investment of up to Rs 300 crore for the establishment of a 250 KLPD Grain-Based Fuel Ethanol Plant in Hargarh, District Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.

It is anticipated that the proposed facility will generate ethanol, a renewable biofuel that may be mixed with gasoline to lower greenhouse gas emissions.

The project is contingent upon the shareholders' approval of the business.

For the second quarter, Kanoria Energy & Infrastructure Limited reported sales were Rs 65.65 crore compared to Rs 61.31 crore a year ago with the gain of 7.06 per cent.

Revenue was Rs 65.72 crore compared to Rs 61.31 crore a year ago. Net income was Rs 1.15 crore compared to Rs 0.679 crore a year ago with the gain of 71.64 per cent.

For the six months, sales were Rs 194.467 crore compared to Rs 154.685 crore a year ago.

Revenue was Rs 194.6 crore compared to Rs 155.041 crore a year ago. Net income was Rs 6.349 crore compared to Rs 5.647 crore a year ago.
