Juniper Green Energy completes 103 MWp solar component of Maharashtra hybrid project

Power Generation  -  Jul 23,2025  -

Juniper Green Energy Limited has announced the successful commissioning of an additional 43 MWp solar power capacity at its hybrid power project site in Karanja (Ghadge), Wardha district, Maharashtra. This marks the completion of the entire 103 MWp solar component of the larger 129 MWp hybrid project.

The achievement is particularly significant as the full solar capacity has been brought online almost 16 months ahead of its scheduled commercial operation date of November 17, 2026.

This rapid execution highlights Juniper Green Energy's strong project management and development capabilities in the renewable energy sector.

This entire solar portion was completed within just eight months of signing the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). The power generated from this facility will be supplied to MSEDCL through Juniper's subsidiary, Juniper Green Power Five Private Limited.

Ankush Malik, CEO of Juniper Green Energy, emphasized that this accomplishment reinforces the company's commitment to accelerating India's clean energy transition and contributing to the nation's growing demand for renewable power.
