Power Generation  -  Oct 06,2025  -

JSW Energy Ltd. has added 114 MW of renewable capacity in September 2025, including 93 MW of wind and 21 MW of solar.

With this, the company’s total installed capacity now stands at 13,211 MW. Earlier this year, it commissioned a 20 MW floating solar project at Vijayanagar, further showcasing its engineering capabilities in innovative renewable formats.

JSW’s portfolio is diversified across thermal, hydro, wind, and solar, but the share of renewable energy has steadily increased to over 57%.

The company’s secured capacity has risen to 30.5 GW, including projects under construction and in the pipeline. It has also committed to building 29.4 GWh of energy storage projects, primarily in pumped hydro, to complement renewables.

JSW is targeting 30 GW of generation capacity by 2030, aligned with India’s broader renewable energy push of 500 GW by the same year.

The company has publicly committed to becoming carbon neutral by 2050, positioning itself among India’s leading green transition players.
