Manufacturing  -  Aug 28,2025  -

Jakson Engineers, a key player in the Jakson Group, has announced a significant investment of over Rs 8,000 crore to establish a new 6 GW integrated solar manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh.

This is slated to be the largest solar manufacturing investment in the state and will be developed in two phases on a 110-acre site.

The first phase, with an investment of Rs 2,000 crore, will focus on a 3 GW capacity for solar modules and cells, with production expected to begin by May 2026.

The second phase, with a larger investment of over Rs 6,000 crore, will add a 6 GW solar wafer plant along with an additional 3 GW each of modules and cells.

The project is expected to create over 1,000 jobs during the construction phase and around 1,400 once operational, contributing to the state's economic development and India's renewable energy goals.
