Jaipur Development Authority has floated tenders to construct a 40 MLD sewage-treatment plant at Sanganer (Bambala area) under EPC plus O&M terms, with the estimated project cost around Rs. 89.71 crore. 

The project uses Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR) technology and includes provisions for long-term performance contracts, reflecting an emphasis on lifecycle operation rather than just one-off construction. 

Expanding urban wastewater treatment capacity is a priority as Jaipur scales up residential and hospitality developments; delivering robust STP infrastructure will improve local water reuse potential and environmental compliance. 

The tender is open to qualified EPC firms and includes O&M obligations to ensure sustained service levels.
