Global automotive supplier Inteva Products has announced the establishment of its second manufacturing facility in Pune, Maharashtra. The expansion aims to meet rising demand for automotive closure systems and roof modules in India.

The new facility will complement Inteva’s existing Bengaluru plant and enhance its capacity to serve both domestic OEMs and global export markets. The plant will feature advanced assembly lines and automated processes to ensure consistent product quality.

Inteva’s decision reflects the growing importance of India as a manufacturing hub within its global supply chain. The company expects the new Pune unit to become operational by 2026, generating new employment and technology-transfer opportunities.

As India’s automotive industry shifts toward higher localisation and electric mobility, global Tier-1 suppliers like Inteva are increasingly scaling operations to support OEM innovation and cost efficiency.
