Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced a significant expansion of its partnership with the Ambuja Neotia Group, signing an agreement for 15 new hotels with a strong focus on the East and Northeast regions of India.

This collaboration will significantly increase their joint portfolio, bringing the total number of hotels under their partnership to over 40. 

The Ambuja Neotia Group is expected to invest up to Rs 2,500 crore in these new projects.

The new hotels will primarily be located across West Bengal, Sikkim, and Himachal Pradesh.

The 15 new sites will include a combination of greenfield (new construction), brownfield (redevelopment of existing sites), and conversion projects.

While the overall completion is anticipated within 5-6 years, at least half of the hotels are expected to be operational in under five years.
