IFL Enterprises board to think about expansion into green energy

Power Generation  -  Jul 03,2025  -

IFL Enterprises Ltd, an Ahmedabad-based company primarily engaged in the agri-commodity business, has announced that its Board of Directors will convene on July 17, 2025, to consider and discuss a significant expansion into new business verticals.

IFL Enterprises aims to tap into India's growing green economy by exploring service offerings in renewable energy contracting, which includes the design, construction, and operation of solar and wind power plants.

This move aligns with the global push towards cleaner energy and the substantial investments expected in the sector.

The company plans to enter the organic waste management space, where it may offer recycling and waste-to-energy solutions.

These solutions would repurpose organic waste into clean power and reusable materials, offering dual revenue streams and contributing to reduced landfill waste and pollution.

If approved, the company anticipates tapping into a combined market opportunity of over Rs 500 crore annually in the renewable energy and waste management sectors, which could significantly contribute to its top line in the coming years.
