Hindustan Zinc Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding with CMR Green Technologies to establish a zinc alloy manufacturing facility.

The project will focus on producing zinc alloys used in automotive, electronics, and engineering applications.

Officials said the collaboration aims to strengthen domestic manufacturing and supply of specialised zinc materials.

The facility will support value-added metal processing within India.

The initiative aligns with efforts to expand downstream metal manufacturing capabilities.
