The Himachal Pradesh government has approved 28 new industrial projects worth Rs 1,734 crore, projected to create over 5,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities. 

The approvals were granted by the state’s single-window clearance authority chaired by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.

The projects span diverse sectors such as pharmaceuticals, agro-processing, renewable energy, and food packaging. 

Key proposals include facilities by Angus Dundee India, Samarth Life Sciences, and Jupiter Solartech.

The initiative reflects the state’s strategy to attract sustainable and employment-intensive industries while promoting eco-friendly manufacturing practices in the hill region.
