Hero Future Energies has signed an MoU with the Andhra Pradesh government to develop 4 GW of solar and wind energy across Anantapuramu, Kurnool and Kadapa districts with a proposed investment of Rs. 30,000 crore.

The project is estimated to create over 15,000 jobs across two phases and aligns with the state's ambition to expand clean-energy capacity. 

This large-scale commitment positions Andhra Pradesh as a key player in India’s renewable-energy landscape, leveraging its land availability, transmission corridors and policy support. For Hero Future Energies, the project strengthens its long-term growth pipeline in utility-scale renewables while supporting national decarbonisation targets.
