Haryana signs Rs 3,000 crore MoUs to boost industrial growth

Industrial Products  -  Oct 09,2025  -

The Haryana government has signed multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth over Rs 3,000 crore with leading global and domestic corporations during an official delegation visit to Japan.

The agreements include major investments from Daikin Industries, Kubota Corporation, and Escorts Group, aimed at strengthening the state’s industrial and technological capabilities.

Daikin will invest around Rs 1,000 crore to establish a new research and development (R&D) centre focused on energy-efficient technologies, while Kubota, in partnership with Escorts, plans a Rs 2,000 crore investment in agricultural machinery and manufacturing facilities.

The agreements were formalized in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, who emphasized the state’s commitment to providing an investor-friendly ecosystem supported by robust infrastructure, single-window clearances, and policy stability.

The MoUs are part of Haryana’s strategic plan to position itself as a “Global Innovation Destination,” complementing India’s Make in India initiative.

The new projects are expected to generate significant employment and foster technology transfer in the sectors of manufacturing, agriculture, and sustainability.
