Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation is developing a dedicated medical device park in Rajkot to strengthen domestic medtech manufacturing. 

The park will offer common infrastructure, testing facilities, and plug-and-play units for manufacturers.

It aligns with India’s push to reduce import dependence in medical devices. 

Gujarat continues to attract sector-specific industrial clusters under its proactive industrial policy. 

The initiative is expected to generate employment and attract private investment.
