An electric vehicle manufacturing unit is being planned in Sector 8D of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), reinforcing Uttar Pradesh’s ambitions to emerge as a key EV manufacturing hub. 

The proposed facility is expected to benefit from seamless road connectivity, proximity to the upcoming Jewar International Airport, and access to a growing supplier ecosystem. 

Officials indicate that the project could attract ancillary units, including battery packs and power electronics manufacturers. 

The development also aligns with state incentives aimed at accelerating EV adoption and industrial employment generation.
