Greenlam Industries to invest Rs 1,147 crore in Andhra Pradesh

Building Materials  -  Jul 17,2025  -

Greenlam Industries has announced a significant investment of Rs 1,147 crore to establish a cutting-edge high-pressure laminate and particle board manufacturing facility in Naidupeta, Andhra Pradesh.

This ambitious project is poised to become South India's largest facility of its kind, bolstering Greenlam's production capabilities and strengthening its position in the rapidly expanding Indian engineered wood and home decor markets.

The new facility is strategically designed to meet the increasing demand for high-quality laminates and wood-based panel products. It will have an impressive annual production capacity of 7 million sheets of high-pressure laminate and 2.9 lakh cubic meters of wood-based particle board sheets.

A key highlight of this investment is Greenlam's commitment to adopting advanced technology. The company plans to install a state-of-the-art Continuous Press System from Diffenbacher, GmbH, Germany.

This will make the Naidupeta plant the only one in South India to utilize such a technologically advanced system, ensuring adherence to global standards of manufacturing excellence, safety, and environmental sustainability
