The government has notified a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Tata Semiconductor Manufacturing at Dholera, Gujarat, paving the way for a major semiconductor manufacturing project.

The SEZ status will provide policy incentives and infrastructure support.

The project is a key part of India’s efforts to build a domestic semiconductor ecosystem. Dholera is emerging as a major hub for high-tech manufacturing investments.
