Alpha and Omega Semiconductor has commenced production of its IPM5 products at the Kaynes Technology semiconductor facility in Gujarat. The development marks a key milestone in India’s efforts to build a domestic semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem.
The facility is expected to manufacture power semiconductor modules used in applications such as industrial automation and energy-efficient appliances.
