Goel Construction has won a Rs 260.47 crore contract from the Adani Group for civil and structural works at a major thermal-power project. 

The contract reinforces Goel’s position as a preferred EPC contractor in India’s energy infrastructure segment.
The scope includes foundation, structural, and balance-of-plant works—key components of the power-station’s construction phase. The project is expected to generate significant employment for engineers and skilled labour.

For Adani Group, the project forms part of its strategy to modernize and expand thermal capacity while parallelly investing in renewable assets. Such contracts also support local supply-chain ecosystems through procurement of cement, steel, and construction materials.

The deal strengthens Goel Construction’s order book and reflects rising capital-expenditure momentum across India’s power sector. Execution is scheduled to begin later this fiscal year.
