Godawari New Energy has announced an investment of Rs.16.25 billion to set up a 40 GWh battery energy storage system manufacturing plant.

The project targets grid-scale and renewable-linked storage requirements. 

Energy storage is critical for balancing intermittent renewable power. 

The facility will support India’s clean energy transition. 

It also positions the company as a key player in the emerging storage market.
