The plant marks a significant step up from module assembly to upstream cell manufacturing.

Funding has come through a mix of internal accruals and debt, reflecting confidence in domestic demand.

The commissioning strengthens India’s efforts to reduce reliance on imported solar cells.
 

It also positions the company to benefit from policy-driven demand and manufacturing incentives.
