Maharashtra is attracting significant manufacturing investment, with recent industrial plot allotments in the Shendra-Bidkin Industrial Area (AURIC), near Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. 

The recent allotments, valued at over Rs 200 crore, will create approximately 1,000 jobs. 

The projects span several key sectors, including food ingredients, electronics manufacturing, and paper products. 

For instance, Science for Society Techno Services Pvt Ltd was granted a large plot for a Rs 104 crore specialty food ingredient plant, a project designated with "Mega Project" status by the state. 

This influx of investment underscores the success of AURIC as a strategic industrial hub and signals a strong shift toward domestic manufacturing expansion.
