Flying Wedge Defence & Aerospace has struck a deal with the Andhra Pradesh government to establish a 500-acre hub for designing, testing and producing autonomous combat aircraft, with a committed investment of Rs. 1,169 crore. 

The site will house R&D, system integration, and manufacturing infrastructure to develop high-tech unmanned aerial combat platforms. 

The project is expected to generate 800 direct and 200 indirect jobs, primarily in aerospace and advanced manufacturing. 

This facility aligns with India’s drive for self-reliance in defence technology and strengthens the nation’s indigenous capabilities in unmanned warfare systems.
