Everta Powers aims for 3,000 locally  produced DC chargers annually by 2027

Infrastructure  -  Jul 18,2025  -

Everta has commenced its DC charger manufacturing operations in India, making a significant stride towards bolstering the nation's burgeoning EV infrastructure.

The company has announced ambitious plans to produce 3,000 DC fast chargers annually by 2027 from its new facility in Bengaluru, aligning with India's "Make in India" and "Atmanirbhar Bharat" (Self-Reliant India) initiatives.

The new manufacturing plant in Bengaluru is set to become operational in the third quarter of 2025. This localized production capability is crucial for meeting the escalating demand for rapid charging solutions as India accelerates its transition to electric mobility.

Everta's strategic entry into the market is backed by a technology licensing agreement with StarCharge, a global leader in EV charging with over 2 million charging points deployed across 60 countries. This partnership ensures that Everta's "Made in India" chargers will adhere to international quality standards and incorporate cutting-edge technology.

Everta's product portfolio will encompass a wide range of DC fast chargers, from 60kW up to and exceeding 320kW, designed to cater to a diverse array of electric vehicles, including three-wheelers, passenger cars, buses, and heavy-duty commercial vehicles.

This comprehensive offering aims to address various charging needs, from public charging stations to high-utilization fleet operations.
