Global renewable energy company Envision Energy has announced a Rs 500 crore investment to establish a wind turbine blade manufacturing facility in Gujarat. 

The plant will produce up to 1,500 blades annually, serving both 3.3 MW and 5 MW wind turbine platforms, and support more than 4 GW of projects across Gujarat. 

This facility will be Envision’s third manufacturing site in India, aligning with the Government’s Make-in-India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.

This investment is projected to create approximately 1,000 direct and indirect jobs, providing a substantial boost to the local economy and fostering a skilled workforce in the green energy sector. 

The construction of the plant is scheduled to commence in the last quarter of 2025, with operations anticipated to be in full swing by the third quarter of 2026.
