Several domestic and international drone and aerospace companies have signalled firm investment interest in Andhra Pradesh, attracted by policy incentives and the state’s dedicated aerospace/electronics ecosystem plans. 

Formal expressions of interest include proposals for R&D facilities, pilot production lines and MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) units that could form an integrated aerospace cluster. 

Officials are actively facilitating land allocation, fiscal incentives and streamlined approvals to expedite project commitments. 

The potential investments are expected to create high-skill jobs and catalyse supplier networks for both defence and civil aviation.

This trend positions Andhra Pradesh as an up-and-coming aerospace hub in India.
