Infrastructure  -  Aug 19,2025  -

Dilip Buildcon Ltd. (DBL), in a joint venture with Ranjit Buildcon Ltd. (RBL), has secured a significant Rs 1,503 crore contract for the Gurugram Metro corridor.

The company announced that the joint venture has received the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL) for the project, which involves the construction of a viaduct and 14 elevated stations.

This development has put the company's share price under a positive spotlight.

The contract scope includes the construction of a 12.98 km main viaduct from Millennium City Centre to Sector 9, a 1.85 km spur to Dwarka Expressway, and a ramp to the depot at Sector 33.

The project, with a completion period of 30 months, is a vital component of the city's expanding public transportation network.

This win comes at a crucial time for Dilip Buildcon, as it bolsters its order book and reinforces its position as a key player in India's urban infrastructure sector.

The Gurugram Metro project, a larger 28.5 km corridor with 27 stations, aims to enhance connectivity and address the growing transportation needs of the rapidly urbanizing "Millennium City."

This contract victory underscores the company's competitive prowess and its ability to undertake complex and large-scale metro construction projects.
