Dalmia Cement has expanded its renewable energy footprint by signing agreements to procure 128 MW of solar power from Oriana Power.

The solar capacity will be deployed across multiple cement manufacturing locations.

The move will reduce dependence on conventional power sources and lower overall energy costs.

It also supports the company’s long-term goal of becoming carbon negative.

Renewable energy continues to remain a core pillar of Dalmia Cement’s sustainability strategy.
