The Government of India has unveiled plans to construct 10,000 km of greenfield expressways with an investment of Rs 6 lakh crore. 

The ambitious project aims to improve connectivity, reduce travel time, and strengthen logistics infrastructure across the country.

This large-scale investment is part of the National Highway Authority’s long-term strategy to modernize transport infrastructure and support economic growth. 

The project is expected to catalyze regional development, boost construction and ancillary sectors, and create millions of jobs during the execution phase.
