BEML has announced plans to invest Rs. 1,500 crore to set up a greenfield rail manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh.

The proposed unit will manufacture rolling stock and rail equipment. The facility is part of BEML’s expansion strategy in rail and metro manufacturing.

It will support both domestic railway projects and export opportunities. The investment will be implemented in phases, subject to approvals.
