Baettr India Ltd has broken ground for a major expansion of its manufacturing facility at the SIPCOT Industrial Park in Thervoy Kandigai, Gummidipoondi, near Chennai. 

The expansion underscores the company’s commitment to scaling local production and strengthening supply chains for the automotive and mobility ecosystem. 

Located along a key industrial corridor, the facility benefits from strong logistics connectivity and access to skilled manpower. 

The project is expected to enhance capacity, improve operational efficiencies, and support future demand from OEM customers.

The move aligns with Tamil Nadu’s broader push to attract high-value manufacturing investments and deepen industrial clusters around Chennai. 

It is also likely to generate employment and encourage ancillary units in the region.
