Australia’s Arvensys group proposes Rs 150 crore CBG Plant In Andhra Pradesh

Australia-based Arvensys Group has proposed the setting up of a compressed bio-gas (CBG) plant in Andhra Pradesh.

Representatives from Arvensys met Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar in Tadepalli to discuss the project. Kumar briefed the team on the vast opportunities in the state for renewable energy projects. 

He promised the company that the government would extend full support and cooperation to investors in green energy ventures.

To start with, the Arvensys representatives announced plans to set up a CBG unit with a capacity of 12–20 metric tonnes per day, involving an investment of Rs 150 crore.

The minister stressed the government’s commitment to facilitating such projects through a single-window clearance system, ensuring swift approvals. He expressed optimism that the CBG plant would also create job opportunities for local youth.
