Aster DM Healthcare to invest Rs 480 crore for a multispecialty hospital in Karnataka

Hospitality and Healthcare  -  May 08,2025  -

Aster DM Healthcare has set aside Rs 480 crore as investment to establish its fourth multispecialty hospital in Bengaluru.

The hospital will be located in the rapidly developing Sarjapur area and will feature a total capacity of 430 beds.

The project will be executed in two phases, with the first phase comprising 300 beds expected to be operational in the second half of FY27. The remaining 130 beds are slated for completion by FY29.

The hospital is expected to cater to the increasing demand for advanced healthcare services in Sarjapur and surrounding regions, while inclusion of oncology services underscores the Group's strategic push into specialised care areas.

The hospital will be situated in Sarjapur, which is fast emerging as one of Bengaluru’s key IT and residential corridors. Its growth is being fuelled by infrastructure upgrades, including a 1,050-acre IT hub announced by the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB).
