The Assam government has signed a memorandum of understanding for a Rs. 1,200 crore e-methanol project.

The project will focus on production of green e-methanol using renewable energy.

It is expected to generate around 3,500 direct and indirect employment opportunities.

The facility will support clean fuel applications in industry and transportation. The project aligns with Assam’s push to attract green energy investments.
