Andhra Pradesh MedTech zone expands startup ecosystem to 1 Lakh Sq. Ft.

Manufacturing  -  Aug 29,2025  -

The Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ) has reinforced its position as a leading medical technology hub by doubling its startup incubation capacity.

The new World Trade Center (WTC) Tower has added one lakh square feet of space, allowing AMTZ to scale its Medivalley hub to support up to 300 startups by FY 2026.

The new tower is more than just an expansion; it's designed as an integrated ecosystem. It features advanced scientific laboratories, rapid prototyping labs, regulatory support systems, and collaborative co-working spaces, providing startups with all the tools they need under one roof.

The incubation hub has successfully supported over 150 startups and facilitated numerous research outcomes, patents, and technology transfers.

This expansion, backed by strategic partnerships with various government and global organizations, solidifies AMTZ's role in accelerating India's "Make in India" initiative in the healthcare sector.
