AHH aims to expand to 20 AINU hospitals by FY30

Hospitality and Healthcare  -  Aug 12,2025  -

Asia Healthcare Holdings (AHH) is planning a major expansion of its specialized hospital network, the Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology (AINU).

AHH, backed by global investors GIC and TPG, will invest an additional Rs 400 crore over the next 4-5 years, bringing its total investment in AINU to Rs 1,000 crore since FY24.

The goal is to grow the network from its current seven hospitals to 20 facilities by FY30.

This expansion will focus on establishing new hospitals in Tier 2 cities such as Bhubaneswar, Patna, and Coimbatore.

AHH is also exploring entry into the gastroenterology (GI) specialty, aiming to diversify its single-specialty healthcare portfolio.

CEO Sandeep Guduru confirmed Rs 150 crore capex for three to four new centres within 12 months, alongside robotic surgery expansion.

Between FY27 and FY30, AINU could add seven to eight more hospitals. AHH, which also owns Motherhood Hospitals and Nova IVF, plans to enter additional specialties, with gastroenterology a priority.
