Agratas, part of the Tata Group, has completed the steel framework for its battery manufacturing facility in Sanand, Gujarat. The project is targeted for production commencement by 2027.

The plant is expected to manufacture advanced battery cells for electric vehicles and energy storage applications.

Sanand has emerged as a major EV and electronics manufacturing hub, attracting large-scale investments.

The facility will play a key role in building India’s domestic battery manufacturing ecosystem.
