Advait Energy Transitions has received a letter of intent from GUVNL for developing 150 MW / 300 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Gujarat. The projects are aimed at strengthening grid stability and supporting renewable energy integration.

As renewable penetration increases, storage systems are becoming critical for balancing supply fluctuations and ensuring consistent power availability. Gujarat has been at the forefront of deploying such advanced energy solutions.

The project will involve deployment of large-scale battery infrastructure capable of storing excess renewable power and releasing it during peak demand.
 

This marks a significant step in expanding India’s energy storage capacity, a key pillar in the country’s transition towards a cleaner and more flexible power grid.
