ACME Solar Holdings has commissioned the first phase of its 300 MW battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Rajasthan.

The project is designed to enhance grid stability and facilitate integration of renewable energy into the power network.

Company officials said energy storage will play a crucial role in balancing variable renewable power generation.

The remaining phases of the project will be commissioned progressively. The development strengthens India’s energy storage infrastructure.
