A 500-bed NMMC specialty hospital to come up at Belapur

Belapur is set to get a new 500-bed NMMC (Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation) super-specialty hospital, which will also include a medical college.

The project, valued at ₹850 crore, will be constructed in phases, with the first phase focusing on a 100-bed facility. This initiative is part of NMMC's efforts to enhance public healthcare infrastructure in Navi Mumbai.

The hospital will be a large-scale facility with a significant number of beds to cater to a wide range of medical needs.

The project includes a postgraduate medical college, suggesting a focus on education and research alongside healthcare services.

The total cost of the project is estimated to be Rs 850 crore and will be implemented in stages, with the initial phase focusing on establishing a 100-bed super-specialty hospital.
