The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has allocated a 3-acre plot to a leading medical equipment manufacturing firm, Premier Medical Systems & Devices Pvt. Ltd., within its Medical Device Park in Sector 28. 

The move will strengthen India's domestic medical technology sector and aligns with the "Make in India" initiative.

The Noida-based firm, known for pioneering India's first locally-made ventilator, will invest Rs 60 crore to establish a new plant. 

This facility will not only expand its existing product lines, which include ICU ventilators and anesthesia workstations, but also introduce new technologies for radiology and oncology. 

The project is expected to create approximately 450 new jobs. The Medical Device Park, spanning 350 acres, is designed to provide state-of-the-art infrastructure for medical device manufacturing, with the central government mandating the completion of all infrastructure by January 2026.
