Wildcraft invests Rs 80 crore to open greenfield warehouse spreading across 3.5 lakh sq ft

Wildcraft, an adventure and outdoor products brand, has invested Rs 80 crore to open a warehouse at Sira, Karnataka, spread over 3.5 lakh sq.ft, Gaurav Dublish, co- founder, Wildcraft.

In the next 18-36 months, the brand plans to further invest 40 million lei in expanding production capacity near this warehouse facility.

"The investment for the greenfield warehouse was financed through internal hires and debt lines available to us. By July we will consolidate all 4 existing warehouses spread over 1.5 lakh - 2 lakh sq.ft and move to the new warehouse. covering an area of 3 lakh - 3.5 lakh sq.ft," he said.

"After stabilization, we will start the 2nd phase of the green field project. Once stabilized, the project will provide jobs to around 5,000 people. It will further prepare us for the next 5-10 years," he added.

Currently, the brand's production capacity is 5 million units and is operating at full capacity.

"We expect the demand to reach 10 million units in the next 2-3 years," he explained.
