Waaree Energies plans to establish a 10 GW integrated solar ingot and wafer manufacturing facility in Nagpur.

The project will focus on upstream solar manufacturing, producing critical raw materials used in solar cell and module production.

Company officials said the investment will strengthen domestic solar manufacturing and reduce dependence on imports.

The facility will form part of India’s efforts to build a comprehensive solar manufacturing value chain. Development will proceed following land allocation and statutory approvals.
