WAA Solar has bagged a Rs.225 crore contract to execute multiple solar projects in Madhya Pradesh under the PM-KUSUM scheme, reinforcing its presence in decentralised renewable energy. 

The order involves development of grid-connected solar plants aimed at supplying power to agricultural feeders. 

PM-KUSUM remains a key policy instrument for reducing DISCOM subsidy burdens while ensuring daytime power for farmers. 

The project will contribute to Madhya Pradesh’s renewable capacity addition targets and improve rural energy reliability. 

Execution is expected to be phased to align with utility commissioning schedules
