TRUMPF, a global leader in industrial machine tools and laser technology, has inaugurated its first manufacturing facility in India. 

Located in Nighoje, Pune, the new plant is a significant step for the company, aligning with the Indian government's "Make in India" initiative. 

This strategic investment will enable TRUMPF to localize its production, enhance its service capabilities, and better serve the growing demand for its technology in the country.

The Pune facility will initially produce the TruBend 1000 series bending machines, designed to deliver performance and efficiency at a competitive price point. 

By 2025, TRUMPF also plans to localise production of the TruLaser 1000 series, which combines German precision with affordability, making it ideal for India’s fast-evolving manufacturing sector. 

With this strategic localisation, TRUMPF aims to enhance supply chain responsiveness, reduce lead times, and offer advanced sheet metal processing solutions tailored to Indian industry needs.
