Transmission infrastructure capable of evacuating 15.5 GW of renewable power has been commissioned in Rajasthan, strengthening one of India’s most important green-energy corridors.

The new lines and substations are designed to reduce curtailment and accelerate grid integration for solar and hybrid plants across high-generation zones. 

These upgrades are part of a broader effort to prepare the state for upcoming ultra-mega renewable parks. 

Authorities are also coordinating with central agencies to expand ISTS capacity over the next few years. 

With more than 50 GW under implementation, Rajasthan is on track to remain India’s premier renewable-energy state.
