TP-Link India to set up over Rs 100 crore factory in three states

Manufacturing  -  Oct 27,2025  -

TP-Link India is planning to invest more than Rs 100 crore to establish its largest global production facility in India, exploring locations across three states.

The factory will produce routers, switches and IoT devices, supporting both domestic market growth and exports to West Asia, Africa and Turkey.

The global networking-hardware market is undergoing rapid expansion driven by broadband penetration, 5G rollout and home-business connectivity demand. Localising production helps TP-Link reduce supply-chain risk, shorten lead times and align with “Make in India” objectives.

For India’s electronics-manufacturing ecosystem, the factory brings ancillary opportunities across components, PCBs, testing labs and automation services. It signals a shift from assembly to end-to-end manufacturing in the hardware value chain.

Key success factors include securing a favourable state-policy environment (subsidies, land, power), recruiting skilled workers for high-precision assembly, and aligning production with global quality and export standards.
