Tokyo Electron Limited (TEL), the world's fourth-largest semiconductor equipment manufacturer, has established a new development site in Bengaluru, Karnataka. 

The new hub will focus on software development, equipment design, and simulation.

The company plans to use this facility to promote joint research on next-generation semiconductor technologies in collaboration with Indian universities and academic institutions. 

This strategic move aligns with India's growing semiconductor ecosystem and its ambition to become a global hub for chip design and manufacturing.
