Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin laid the foundation stone for a Rs. 931 crore DRAM memory module manufacturing unit by Adata in the state. 

The facility will produce memory modules for computers, servers, and electronics applications.

State officials said the investment reinforces Tamil Nadu’s standing as a leading electronics manufacturing destination. 

The project is expected to generate employment and deepen the semiconductor and electronics ecosystem in the region.

The plant will contribute to India’s broader push to strengthen domestic electronics and semiconductor value chains.
