NHPC has floated tender for the electro-mechanical (E&M) works of 240 MW Uri-I Stage-II hydroelectric project in Baramulla district, Jammu Kashmir.

The scope of work under E&M package, Lot-III includes design, manufacture, quality assurance, shop assembly, testing and delivery at site, storage and preservation, installation, commissioning, performance testing, handing over to the owner and guarantee for two years.

The project envisages as a run of river scheme with two generating units of 120 MW each (2x120 MW). The underground power house is located on the left bank of river Jhelam near Rajarwani.

The estimated value of work is Rs 485.40 crore. The last date for the submission of bids is 30 July 2025.
